I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend and professional. Throughout my career I have always been proud of delivering exceptional customer service.  I am a perfectionist, I don't like jargon and like to explain things clearly.

I was a personal injury and medical negligence lawyer for a large local firm for over 20 years. During my legal career it was apparent that a lot of my customers had very little or no savings and no insurance. They had insufficient income after sick pay ran out and this was often more stressful than the accident/injury itself. Not being able to work, pay their mortgage, credit cards and loans, take the kids out or fill the car up with petrol was often catastrophic to family life.

 

When I questioned customers why they didn't have critical illness or income protection insurance, there was a resonating theme - "we didn't know we could get it", "we didn't understand it", "it was too confusing as we didn't know what we really needed "or "we thought it would be too expensive".

 

The opportunity arose where I could make a real difference to people in this situation. I became a mortgage and protection insurance consultant, retraining with a large corporate company. Corporate restrictions prevented me from being able to give my customers the very best service as I was only able to offer mortgages and/or protection insurance from a limited number lenders/insurers. I wanted to provide the very best service and resolutions for my customers, and to deliver the most suitable deal from a wide range of lenders/insurers every time.

I waved goodbye to the corporate world of financial services and in January 2020 Precision Mortgage Solutions was created.
